Never accept your life as is. No matter how bad of a hand you’ve been dealt, always have a hope and a vision of a brighter future. Giving up is easy, surrendering to your circumstances is easy, whining and screaming “why me?!” is easy.

Allow me to share a bit of wisdom from my dad. One thing he said to me that will stick with me until the end of my life. Your life is like flying a helicopter. You have 2 options: an autopilot, which will get you through life without much effort or conscious power, and a stick. If you decide for the autopilot, you won’t have any say in the route or the final destination. However, if you choose the stick, you may not always have a say in the route, but you will always have a say in your final destination.
